The Beginning

Landscape Plus was founded by Trevor Garner in 1994, starting with just a single pickup truck and a trailer. The business began by focusing on providing high-quality landscape supplies, offering bulk materials such as soil, mulch, and aggregates, along with reliable delivery services to homeowners, contractors, and businesses in the area. Trevor’s commitment to excellent customer service quickly earned the company a strong reputation, laying the foundation for growth and expansion in the years to come.

Expanding into Landscape Construction

In 1999, recognizing the growing demand for professional landscape construction services, Trevor took a bold step and expanded Landscape Plus into hardscapes and garden design. With a growing passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces, Trevor and his team of six dedicated employees began working on custom patios, walkways, retaining walls, and lush garden designs. This marked the beginning of Landscape Plus’s full-service approach, offering clients everything from design to installation, helping them bring their outdoor visions to life.

The Addition of Maintenance Services

In 2006, Landscape Plus further expanded by purchasing a maintenance division, which allowed the company to serve both residential and commercial clients in the Guelph, Kitchener, and Waterloo areas. This strategic acquisition grew the team to 15 employees and enabled Landscape Plus to offer a full range of landscaping services, including seasonal clean-ups, lawn care, pruning, and grounds maintenance. The addition of these services allowed Landscape Plus to develop long-term relationships with clients, keeping their properties looking beautiful and well-maintained year-round.

A New Chapter with Ontario Helical Piles

In 2024, Landscape Plus entered an exciting new phase by adding Ontario Helical Piles to its list of services. By acquiring Ontario Helical Piles, Trevor and the team were able to expand their capabilities to include advanced foundation solutions for construction projects. Helical piles are perfect for challenging soil conditions and offer fast, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly solutions for everything from telecom towers to custom decking and more. This addition marked a significant milestone in Landscape Plus’s growth, further solidifying the company’s position as a leading provider of both landscaping and construction services.
